7-Day Loans

New fiction-novels, mysteries, current best sellers.
Audio/visual media-books on tape, videos, CDs, DVDs.

21-Day Loans

Older fiction, non-fiction, magazines.

Renewals

Most items can be renewed twice. Items can be renewed online or by calling the library at 498-8228 or 498-7706.
Items for which there is a waiting list cannot be renewed.

Loan Policy

No person will be denied service or access to materials owned by the Newcomerstown Public Library based on race, sex, religious or political beliefs, age, or handicap.

Some materials in the collection may not be suitable for children. There, parents and legal guardians are encouraged to be familiar with what their children read, listen, and view. Only parents and legal guardians have the right and responsibility to limit their children's access to materials at the Library. Parents and legal guardians acknowledge this responsibility when they sign their children's borrower application card.

Juvenile and young adult materials are generally housed separately from adult materials in order to help children and parents select age appropriate material.
